38 BARRACKS - Unusual Elegance

Connaught Place is one of the most beautiful location in Delhi according to me. I can walk and still get lost here but that feeling of losing yourself but finding your inner self is what i get when i am in Cp. Not just because its so beautiful but also because it is a hub of restraunts. Every day there is a new restaurant which is opening in Cp...


Recently, I had gone to review the New Kid In Town called 38 Barracks. 


The moment you enter this restaurant, you see stairs and once you go up to there is a giant restaurant with a long bar and loads of space to sit and chill with your family and friends. 

Before we started eating our food, they provided us with A palate cleanser called Amuse Bonche. 




 TOMATO BOCCIONI SALAD 
A heavenly salad which had cottage cheese and tomatoes. Highlyrecommended. Fresh, clean and super healthy. And obviously super Delish. 




In Mocktails we had 
Sergeant, 49th Battalion and Orange Bunta 
All these three mocktails were different and delicious. I completely loved all of them and will surely recommend it to y'all. 


In cocktails we had 
Kiwi Mule, Boston Beach and Strawberry Bunta. 
The favourite in these three was the bunta. Very Boozy and delectable.

They served their drinks in such a quirky manner with long glasses and light bulbs and what not. Loved their concept. 





PANEER TIKKA BARRELS 
They were gooey and delicious paneer tikkas served with a 'chaach'. Very soft and Is a perfect appetiser for the vegetarians.



MALAYSIAN MILITARY SATAY 
These were one of the best satay ive had since a very long time. Very soft and not at all chewy. Melts in the mouth within seconds. 



 FISH AMRITSARI 
Fish lovers, this ones for y'all. Some heavenly fried fish served in a cute little bowl and is a perfect appetiser for all the fish fans. Light and delicious. 



CHILLI PANEER & MUSHROOM GALOUTI 
Two brilliant appetisers which I completely loved. Mentioning them here because I want to give them more attention. The chilli paneer is something that you don't get everywhere. Very different and delish. 





FUSILLI PASTA IN ALFREDO SAUCE
One of my favourite dish was this Pasta. Served with pine nuts on the top and cherry tomatoes. It looked so cute in the giant cup and tasted very very good. 



FARM HOUSE PIZZA 
A pizza recommended by the chef himself. Filled with the right amount of cheese and vegetables, this one was worth every bite. Can't believe that I've fallen in love with a vegetarian pizza, but yes this one deserves all the praises. 



BARRACKS PRAWN 

Heavenly prawns. Really yummy and a must have if you are a prawn lover. 


BARRACKS SPECIAL BUTTER CHICKEN 

Well, I've just got one word for this one I.e. "droolworthy" 
This butter chicken was oh so yummy and the gorgeous presentation and then the amazing taste just took away my heart. Full marks for this dish. And you surely cannot miss this one.




TARKARI BIRYANI
Vegetarian biryani served in a very nice manner. Tasted pretty good. 



VEG THAI YELLOW CURRY 
Thai curry was yum and so was the kimchi salad along with it. All the elements of the dish was complimenting each other perfectly. 


 HYDERABADI KHATEY BAINGAN 
Coming to one of the dishes in their main course, this was something I've tried for the first time and I am in love with it. Such "khatta Meetha" taste it had and was something so different from the regular food we order. Very heavenly. 

 SUBZ MILONI 
A curry which was served with Butter Naan. Very different yet super tasty. 


BAKED RASGULLA PIE & HAZELNUT BROWNIE with ICECREAM 

Two desserts that we had here. 
The Pie was so ambrosial and delicious. Highlyrecommended. 






38 barracks is a place worth going and spending some quality time with your loved ones.
