Satyaniketan is like a younger brother of North Campus, Delhi University. It is situated in the south campus and has some good and bad cafes.
Recently I visited this one quirky looking cafe which was attracting me from a really long time called SPORK N SPOKE. This cute and spacious cafe turned out to be one of the best that i have ever tried in Satyaniketan.
Lets begin with what all i had there and what I loved
1. CLASSIC COLD COFFEE
2. CHOCOLATE BERRY SHAKE
3.KEEMA PAV
4.CHILLI VEG MOMOS
5. KALA KHATTA MOCKTAIL
6. ULTIMATE STRAWBERRY
7. QUESADILLA
7,CHICKEN PARMIGIANA
8.KHAO SUEY
9. THAI CURRY WITH RICE
10. ARRABIATA PASTA
11. DOUBLE CHEESE MARGHERITA
12. CHOCOLAVA CAKE
13. BROWNIE WITH HOT CHOCOLATE
14. CHOCOLATE MUD MOUSSE
So, to begin with we started our meal with coffee and chocolate berry shake. The coffee was good and tasty. But, the shake was ultimate. The chef suggested it to us and I loved it and was unable to stop myself from finishing it all together.
Chocolate and berries blended together into a delectable shake just made my entire day.
*drooling*
Keema Pav, a dish which is very famous in Maharashtra was created by the chef in such an amazing manner that it literally gave me goosebumps. What brilliant flavors and that oh so delicious taste. A little spicy but i enjoyed it and finished the entire plate ALONE.
The Keema was so heavenly and so tasty.
I have seriously fallen in love with this delish dish.
All non vegetarians, do try this one.
After that we tried their very famous dish called the chilli veg momos which were steamed momos dipped in a delish ssauce/gravy and was garnished with bell peppers and spring onions. A different way to have momos which I really liked. A must for momo lovers.
ANOTHER ROUND OF DRINKS PLEASE
So, we had these beautiful looking mocktails and kala khatta was my favorite. It reminded me of the legendary chooski we had in summers.
Chicken parmigiana, a droolworthy dish which was worth every bite. The moment you dig in you realise how amazing this dish is. Perfect blend of flavors and the gorgeous sauce beneathe the chicken the oozing cheese too. Loved everything about this dish.
full marks for this one.
Quesadilla was good. Nothing exceptional but was okayish.
It was served with sour cream and a salsa.
Khao Suey. This was my 3rd experience with Khao Suey and i must say that this one didn't disappoint me at all, With some really delicious ingredients this khao suey was on point and i completely loved it.
Thai Curry. It was completely authentic without any disturbance to the original flavors.
Arrabiata Pasta was juicy, delicious and a little indianised. The chef claimed that because the authentic pasta won't be suitable for the students who are usually their customers so they made it a little customer friendly by using indian flavors. With this view point, i liked the pasta very much.
PIZZA?PIIZZA
This magical double cheese pizza won over my heart. Simple, subtle and tasty. Totally authentic and delicious.
Desserts are served M'lady...
All the three desserts were amazinnngggg.
I am a chocolate lover and their desserts especially brownie with chocolate sauce is a must try.
I hope you enjoyed the very first post of 2016.
Keeping up the good work that i started in 2015 and will maintain it forever.

XOXO
