ZIZO :- LEBANESE FOOD AT IT'S BEST

Lebanese cuisine includes an abundance of starcheswhole grainfruitsvegetables, fresh fish and seafood; animal fats are consumed sparingly. Poultry is eaten more often than red meat. When red meat is eaten it is usually lamb on the coast, and goat meat in the mountain regions. It also includes copious amounts of garlic and olive oil, often seasoned by lemon juice. Olive oil, herbs, garlic and lemon are typical flavors found in the Lebanese diet.
(INFO :- WIKIPEDIA)

I had gone to ZIZO few days back. It is an authentic Lebanese Restaurant and I had the best lebanese food ever. Being a Food Blogger, I should know about most of the cuisines so that I can keep you guys informed.

The head chef, Chef Danny dined with me that day and it was a really amazing experience. I learned so much about the dishes and the entire lebanese cuisine and how you dont need sophistication and use knife and fork to indulge into lebanese food. All you need IS A GOOD a palate and a heart to experiement...

This cuisine uses loads of lemon, herbs and fresh and raw vegetables. The flavors are crisp, delicious and really nice.

----WHAT ALL I TRIED HERE IS MENTIONED BELOW----
ENJOY

1. MEZZE PLATTER
HUMMUS, FATTOUSH, LABNEH WITH ZAATAR, FALAFEL, MIXED PICKLES, TAHINI SAUCE and PITA BREAD

This was the first dish I had. Oh So Fresh and delectable and had such an amazing taste. Every single item in this platter complimented each other. I had the Labneh dip for the very first time and it was so droolworthy. This entire platter deserves full marks and more. Chef taught me how to make and eat this and I must say that it tasted like heaven.

Brilliance in every bite.

2 BATATA HARRA
CRISPY POTATO CUBES with A LEBANESE CHILLI GARLIC TWIST

This was a really yummy appetizer. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and had some really good spices in them.. A good pick for the vegetarians.

Along with our food we also had two mocktails
3. MULBERRY JUICE
4. HAND PRESSED MINT JUICE

Fresh. Delicious. Healthy. Just Perfect.

5. PROVENCALE CHICKEN WINGS
CHICKEN LOLLYPOP WITH LEMON AND CORIANDER

This was the best chicken wings i have ever had. I mean so droolworhthy and so different from the usual. The lemon and coriander was all over the chicken and there was a little of butter, ginger, coriander and lemon gravy below the wings to make the dish more juicy... First bite in the wings and you'll know how amazing it is. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

6. CHICKEN SHAWARMA
GRILLED MARINATED CHICKEN STRIPS WITH SALAD,
GARLIC DIP AND PICKLES

I've had shawarma's at so many places but only after having this one i realised what i've been missing out. What taste and what authenticity this dish had. First of all, each and every ingredient had its own flavor and was beautifully complimenting every ingredient of the shawarma. Then, everything was so fresh and had this aroma which was so good.
After the first bite I was unable to stop myself and had to finish the entire shawarma to get that satisfaction.
*droollllliiiinnnnnggg*

7. HALF AND HALF PIZZA
CHICK'N CHEESE MAN'OUSHE and ZAATAR MAN'OUSHE

This was a really different experience with Pizza because it was not at all like the usual pizzas we have on a daily basis... Something unusual yet unique and worth every bite.

8. GRANDMOM'S CHICKEN PASTA

A little like Mac n Cheese, this one was a really heavy yet yummy dish..
Tasted like any normal pasta but was very tasty and ambrosial.

9. CHEESE KUNAFA
and
10. LADY'S ARM

Two heavenly desserts which will surely satisfy your sweet cravings.

From the past few years we indians have started exploring and indulging into new cuisines and we are loving them..

And to eat awesome lebanese food, you've got to try ZIZO

Brings you back to the wonderful old days when things were as lovely as freshly spun cotton candy. They've got more than 15 different premium flavored cotton candies..

How Exciting, right?

The First one that I tried was their PERKISH PAAN flavor.
The flavor was very strong and every paan lover would love to indulge into this one.
How nicely they've blended the flavors and all i can think of is this magical creation.

The second box had SWISS VANILLA.
OK, so this is my favorite out of all 5. Why? Because it had vanilla and choco chips.

The cotton candy is doing complete justice to its name and the flavors are definitely there and  your taste buds are going to do the happy dance after eating this...

*droollliiinnngggg*

The third flavor was called LUSCIOUS LEMON.
So, yes it had lemon... Dont be shocked.

Lemon flavored cotton candy was oh so delectable and it was not too sour but just perfect. And it looked like a dream...
Yellowish- Goldenish, so dreamy and so pretty.

Indulge into these while reading your novel and you wont even realise how quick this novel gets over.

Then I had JOLLY BERRY STRAWBERRY. This one was the classic cotton candy with a little twist but not too much. Made me remember the good ol days of my childhood and I felt so good after eating these.

The last box had AWESOME APPLE in it. Green Apple flavored cotton candy? C'mon man!

These guys are really creative and their hard work is clearly visible here. This particular flavor was really tasty and it felt as if you're eating apples... Nope, not exaggerating.

This was also one of my favorite flavors. And the colorful sprinklers on it was just the perfect decoration.

SUGAR THREADS, you've brought back so many memories and made me so happy.

People you have to try them to believe each and every word i have written here.

My heart and my taste buds are both so glad.

SPREAD SWEETNESS, ALWAYS

Asian cuisine refers to any of several major regional cuisines, including East AsianSoutheast AsianSouth AsianCentral Asian, and Middle Eastern. A cuisine is a characteristic style of cooking practices and traditions, usually associated with a specific culture. Asia, being the largest and most populous continent, is home to many cultures, many of which have their own characteristic cuisine.
(Ref- wikipedia)

I had gone to Kitchens Of Asia recently and this was my first review in Cyber Hub. A fan of trying new cuisines i was really excited to Visit KOA.

To begin with, me and friend had two delectable drinks. Very fresh and Yummy. They resembled the sun and were very appealing to the eye..

Then we had Crystal Veg Dumplings. These were soft and juicy and very tasty. Perfect pick for the vegetarians.

Then we had these gorgeous veg sushi. The chef told me that their sushi will surely be different from the others and i coudn't agree more. Their sushi was so tasty and had such amazinf flavors all infused with each other. This one was my very favorite.

Another round of sushi but this one was Prawn Sushi. I finished the entire plate on my own becaue these were so ambrosial. The prawn was perfectly cooked and all the flavors complimented each other so well and made this a hit dish.

Then we had Snapper with assorted vegetables in black pepper sauce with noodles, A very delicious and beautiful dish with some really different and brilliant elements and spices. The fish was perfectly cooked and was very delish. The noodles were actually the highlight of this dish.
I even ordered the noodles separately because of their deliciousness. Full Marks for this one.

Then we had spring rolls which were very tasty.
Stir Fried Tofu which was a good appetizer if you are a Tofu fan.

Then I had Chicken Teryaki which was Teppan cooked chicken with eringi mushroom and wakame seaweeds. A very light and fresh dish which will give you some really good flavors and the authenticity of this dish is remarkable. If you like to experiment with your taste buds you should definitely try this one.

Then we had Vegetable Tempura which was oh so delicious. Yes, it was a little oily but i compeletely loved the vegetables and the way they were deep fried till perfection. Not just the outer cover but the veggies inside it was delicious and fresh and tasty. Forget health and indulge into this yummy appetizer.

Finally, we had The Classic Chicken Dumplings. They were juicy, delish and I surely recommend these to all of y'all.

For Dessert we had Vanilla Icecream rolls. A Very heavenly dessert..

KOA is a must visit for everyone who loves sushi and dumplings and everything in between. Their service was pretty quick and the food was fresh, clean and yummy.

Number 8 is a new restaurant which is just a month old and serves some really high end dishes in their menu. It's a three storey restaurant with a beautiful looking bar and a giant terrace which is usually crowded in the evening.

To begin with me and my friend ordered two soups, Hot n Sour and Tom Yum. These two were very delectable and fresh.

Then we ordered Polenta Cupcakes salad. A very healthy, fresh and delicious salad served with a tamarind sauce along with it. Beautifully presented and tasted really good.

Then we had two yummy appetisers, Vegetarian money bags and Chicken satay. Both these were yummy and delish. Surely recommended.

Then we had Braised Lamb with Chimichuri Potatoes, asparagus and grape wine jus. Juicy and tender lamb which was complimented by the jus. Very yummy dish.

Then in main course we had, Cottage cheese Rollatini which was an elegant and different dish. Good choice for the vegetarians.

Then we had, Pan Seared Gnocchi. A little too buttery but tasted good.

To end our meal we had their flourless cake which was oh so heavenly. The perfect dessert for someone who loves not so sweet desserts but loves Chocolates. Still drooling over this one.

Try Number 8 and have a really amazing experience.
