Idyllic in Italy @JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity

K3 brings the traditional Sicilian Sunday Brunch which promises to transport you to the Mediterranean Savour authentic creations, crafted lovingly from age old recipes for a true Italian feast. The Sicilian Sunday theme brunch is at it's all day dining restaurant K3 for the months of September and October.
Chef Vincenzo has crafted the menu from the age old Italian recipes to transport you to the Mediterranean.

K3 is a magical looking restaurant serving some brilliantly yummy food and we tried a lot of things.
Read below to know more :-

I started with Pasta Con Le Sarde and Red wine Sangria. The pasta was cooked in Saffron and nuts, and was very pleasant on my palate. The Sangria complemented it beautifully.

Agello con Battuto al Limon -
The lemon scented lamb was cooked to perfection, it was literally melting in my mouth.
Spiedini all Eoliana -
The Mediterranean seafood skewers tasted as good as they looked.
Mushroom risotto -
This was made by Chef Vincenzo himself and is one of the best risottos I've had. It was definitely the highlight of my day.
Melanzane Funghetto -
The eggplants sautéed with olives and tomatoes made a flavoursome combination.

Schiacciata alla Messinese -
The crust of the pizza was a little dry but the Lettuce and Anchovies stuffing more than made up for it.

Crocché -
It had a cheesy inside with crispy potato skin.
Panini Cresciuti -
It was a little pizza pocket with delectable flavours.
The buffet also had a North Indian section which had some exquisite flavours. The Ghosht Dum Biryani and the Tandoori chicken were my favourites from the section.
They even had an Indian street food corner to cater to everyone's Chaat and Pav bhaaji cravings.

The third section I visited after the Sicilian and North Indian sections was the Cantonese one.
I had the Orange glazed roasted duck and Dimsums. The duck was juicy and tender but it was the Prawn dimsum that won my heart. The chilly dip along with the Prawn dimsums made a scrumptious pair.

The last and the most inviting section was the dessert bar.
I had the Sicilian Cannoli and the Pear Galette, two of Chef Vincenzo's favourite desserts. The taste did complete justice to the reputation.
I also had other mouth watering desserts like the Strawberry Basil Jelly with Pistachio Cremeux, Milk chocolate bavorise with Ferrero Rochers, Red velvet cupcakes, Panacota with mixed berry compote, Hazelnut delight.
There wasn't a single dessert that I didn't love.

Overall, team missfoodiediaries had an amazing experience.
Tkanks to all the chefs of K3 for the wonderful food and their hospitality.

MRP,MUMBAI – Modern Asian Bistro

MRP – Modern Asian Bistro, a games-themed modern Asian bar and bistro that has recently opened its gates in Dadar. The bar is the newest venture by Abhayraj Singh Kohli, who also runs Grandmama’s Cafe next door.
MRP has a retro chic design and a contemporary East-Asian menu. The bar offers a number of house cocktails and a great variety of Asian food!
Every single table there had a dedicated box of games, comprising of spin the bottle, deck of cards, dice, gaming costers, ping pong ball and so on!

We started off with cocktails;
Molecular DSLR, consisting vodka, litchi, lyche, caviar, passion fruit and coconut milk. It was actually served in a DSLR lens, we loved how it was presented. The taste was quite average though!
Feng shui pot consisting of whiskey and fresh apple, presented with cherry bits and flowers, was beautifully presented and tasted great too!

For appetizers we started with:
Soups and salads!
Tom yum soup, the classic soup with MRP twist was a total delight!
Miso dumpling soup with chicken dumplings was delicious too!
We tried their Hoisin duck salad, with pickled cucumbers, thai chilli, pomegranate, peanuts and micro herbs! We loved the salad, the combination of herbs and crunchiness of pomegranate was absolutely scrumptious! Also, the duck was well cooked and was extremely delectable!
Wonton nachos, something innovative and must say, delicious with a perfectly balanced taste! Crispy wontons served with spicy black bean sauce, topped with jalapeño cheese sauce created a burst of flavor!
Since I am a huge fan of dimsums, if they are on the menu, I will definitely order. We ordered chicken basil dimsums but I was disappointed as the dimsums were very sticky and a bit bland too! Passable I would say!
Pulled chicken bao was utterly delectable! Sweet and soft steambuns, filled with daikon, cucumbers, cilantro, lomo-lomo egg, garlic aioli! Comes with a delicious sauce! This was the best dish we had that night! You must definitely try this one!

MRP Mac and cheese, which was an Asian version of Mac and cheese, and was absolutely mouth-watering with thai curry, mozzarella and macaroni ! Very cheesy and yummy!
Oriental pot rice was our next dish which good too. With lots of veggies, and garlic sauce, we enjoyed the dish. Even though the dish was a bit bland, the butter and garlic sauce managed to keep the tastes alive!
Thai green curry with steamed rice is my all time favorite dish, so we tried this one there. Thai curry was authentic with all the thai herbs and spices, with coconut milk base. It was very flavorsome and we thoroughly enjoyed this one with added chicken pieces!

Then we got to the desserts!
We started with the Jenga tower! The Jenga tower was a beautiful concept, coming from our all-time favorite game, obviously Jenga! Gooey dark chocolate brownie blocks shaped like Jenga blocked were stacked on each other just like it is in the same topped with salted caramel, chocolate sauce and vanilla ice-cream. It tasted as good as it looked!

Drunken Chocolate Sundae with caramelized popcorn, pieces of waffles, sponge chocolate cake with vanilla ice-cream and pieces of bananas! As tempting as it looked, we wouldn’t call it our favorite dessert of the night!

Our favorite dessert that night was the deconstructed cheesecake! It was nothing like the normal cheese cake but something much more creamy, gooey and oh-so-delicious! It was home-made cheesecake ice-cream (Yes, cheesecake ice-cream.. Love!) popping candy crumble, which will instantly take you to your childhood days, meringue and seasonal fruit, we were served mango! Something that you shouldn’t miss out on!

It is a perfect place for your Friday and Saturday night scenes, especially when you are going with a big group of people! With the  variety of games to be played and the amazing cocktails you will surely have a great time!

COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT, AGRA- LUXURY REDEFINED

LUXURY IS IN EACH DETAIL

HELLO BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!
So, this is MISSFOODIEDIARIES' first ever travel blog where i will be talking about this mesmerizing property- COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT, AGRA

Courtyard by Marriott is one of most beautiful properties i've personally reviewed and I am out of words when i think of describing their hospitality.

I actually might give them 6/5 because of the lovely treatment they've given me.

The entire building is massive with so many facilities like, gym, pool, spa and a banquet hall. Their entrance is so beautiful that you might find yourself standing outside looking at the entrance before going inside.

Once you enter, you'll be greated by everyone with "namastey" and a smile that might actually make your day. Their lobby is surely one of prettiest i have seen. So elegant and it has that 5 star quality in it. Not even one thing was out of space and everything just was so perfect. A treat to the eye. Their Spa is again very lavish, having various rooms for a couples alone time or for one person and has various choices of oils and are also doing foot and head massages.

Their gym is giant and can fit in many people at once. While you work out, you can enjoy the view of their gorgeous swimming pool.

One thing that i really loved was their 'Destination wedding' themed stage. So when you are planning your ideal big fat indian wedding, this should be your destination because it is more than perfect and will make you fall in love with the idea of wedding and also with their hospitality.

When you are staying in the hotel, you need to check out their lovely looking bar which is so large and so well designed. Their evenings are made special by a man playing some soothing music right infront of the entrance and you also have magic shows, mehendi maker, pottery maker and a puppet show. These things will keep your little ones occupied when you can sit at Momo 2 go, their coffee shop and sip some coffee and have some light snakcs.

All of these things are only to make the stay peaceful and memorable for the customer and so that they will surely come back whenever they return to Agra. If you ask me, I will surely live here yet again, on my next visit to agra.

MOMO CAFE is their magnificient and oh so pretty restaurant that is handled by their executive chef, Chef Vivek Kalia who is working with marriott from quite a few years and has moved to this property two years back. He is specialised in italian cuisine and to be honest, the italian dishes I had were the best i've ever had. The balance in flavors, the textures and the perfect taste just reflected his professionalism and dedication towards cooking and presentation of the food.

The restaurant has a lavish buffet during breakfast and dinner, serving so many items at one time and they have such a wide variety of dishes that you'll loose your mind while selecting what to have and what to skip.

Under the supervision of Chef Vivek, everything is made beautifully and they have paid attention to the fact that in Agra people are looking for Awadh cuisine, rather than any other. But yes, if you wish to try anything else, like I tried italian dishes, then you can request the chef and he will make them for you.

Keeping the taste very simple and authentic, Chef has created some wonderful dishes that will blow your mind after the very first bite. From the delectable starters to the main course, desserts and drinks, everything was amazing and had such vibrant flavors.

I had the best penne arrabiatta here and i just can't stop drooling over it. Even the picture makes me want to have it again. They make chaats in the evening buffet where you can either create your own chaat or you can ask the chef, who is standing near the chaat counter to create something delicious for you. Their menu is pretty wide with tons of options to pick from.

I had some really yummy coffee at momo 2 go which is something you cannot miss.

Their breakfast was just so yummy. The pancakes stole my heart. They were so gooey and yummy and then the dosa I had was so mind blowing and was filled with yummy masala. Their juices and every other drink that i had was really fresh and delish and also quite colorful.

From breakfast, to lunch and to dinner, every single dish that I had was without any doubt totally perfect and that is a sign of a 5 star brand. Their presentation, their cutleries, glasses and the cleanliness of the tables and clothes on the table was on fleek and i can't be more happy and satisfied as a customer.

I stayed in an executive suite which was really magical and was really alluring to the eye. A stunning towel art was created on the bed which was the centre of attraction and everything else just suited each other. The drawing room was also really nice and comforting. From my room, i could see their exquisite swimming pool. The washroom was another attractive element in the room and they had paid a lot of attention on every single item present in the washroom.
Even in the room, every thing jut fits perfectly and completes the room.

To end my blog about this heavenly stay that i had in Courtyard By Marriott, Agra, i want to say that if i have experienced luxury, i've experienced it right here.

My humble thanks to Team CBM,AGRA for showing me such respect and for such a memorable stay. You will soon be seeing me again.

DOUGHLICIOUS, GURGAON- A GREAT 'QUICK BITE' STOP

In association with DINE AGAIN, i recently went to doughlicious, gurgaon.

Dine Again is an Ios and Android App that lets users earn loyalty points for visiting their favourite restaurants again and again.

Doughlicious serves quick and filling food and also is a bakery with loads of dessert options to choose from.

Their mushroom and chicken puffs were yum. Very soft and perfectly baked.
If you want to grab something and leave, these are perfect for you.

Their oreo shake and cold coffee both are amazing.

Then i had a mixed sauce pasta which was just so delectable. Perfect flavors, pasta was cooked to perfection and the entire dish was delish. The chicken pieces were done very nicely.

Then i had veg spring rolls with a very tangy dip.
One of the best i've had since a very long time. The dip just brought up the dish so much
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Paneer Sandwich was delicious and very light ad yum.

Their open chicken burger is to die for. So huge, delectable and heavenly. You cannot miss it for sure. The fries along with the burger were so crispy perfectly fried. all in all, it was a complete package that i really loved.

Their chicken and cheese pizza is droolworthy. It was thincrust and amazingly baked. So happy to have eaten this. Really yummy.

They have also introduced biryanis in their menu.  I had the chicken biryani and oh it was wonderful. So yum and had such an amazing flavor. So loved it. recommended

Surely recommend their desserts to y'all. To be honest, all of them were fresh and really yum. White chocolate donut and blueberry cheesecake are surely something you can't miss.

All in all, my experience at doughlicious was brilliant and this place is surely worth visiting.

A LITTLE ABOUT DHABA BY CLARIDGES, DLF PLACE, SAKET.

We were at Dhaba By Claridges, Dlf Place, Saket and i am short of words about the fact that they treated me so well. DBC is surely serving oh so awesome food and one cannot deny that their food is unbelievably yum. Everything from starters to main course to the dessert, every single thing is worth drooling over.

We had some indianised drinks there which were just so khata meetha and delish.

Their vegetrian and non vegetarian starters are both top notch and yummy.
Balance in flavors, very tasteful and fresh. Their quantity is quite filling and everything looked very pretty.

Their desserts are to die for. Not too sweet yet they had perfect consistency.
