UDAIPURI :- SERVING YUMMY VEGETARIAN FOOD

Udaipuri is the perfect place for vegetarians. It is a pure vegetarian restaurant/take away which serves brilliant Rajasthani food and other Oriental options too. Yeah you heard me, oriental too. Their food is cooked fresh and is really delectable.

To begin with, I had palak pakori Chaat which was so crispy, soft and Delicious. The flavors were on point and so were the spices. A very yummy starter.

Then we had, kumbh tikka Masala which was barbequed mushrooms with brilliant flavors and spices and what an amazing taste it had. Also their presentation was awesome. A very filling and yum dish.

Then I ordered, soyabean sugarcane satay with peanut sauce. So this is from their oriental menu. Believe it or not, their Oriental menu is equally good. They have made their menu on the basis of how good can they cook. This juicy starter was delectable with a sugarcane in between which Gave it the perfect zing. Full marks for this one.

Then i had, vegetable dimsums. I was craving for dimsums and so I Ordered it. And it was a shock for me that these dimsums were oh so Heavenly. I completely enjoyed eating these dimsums and will recommend it to all the vegetarians as well as the non vegetarians because everyone will love them.

Then we ate the main course which had, Thai green curry with steamed rice. I am not a Thai curry fan but this one was worth every bite. It was so droolworthy and delicious that I finished the entire plate. Their Oriental menu serves great options too and I loved all that I had from that menu. This one was too delicious and a must try.

Daal Baati Choorma a very droolworthy dish which is obviously the typical Rajasthani dish. They made these cute little baatis which were yummy and easily edible. They showed they are the expert because their this dish was amazingggg. Highlyrecommended.

Finally we had, mezze Platter which was recommended by the staff. Ok, so I hope you will believe me here that this was a very very delish mezze Platter. Every single ingredient was nailed to perfection and I being a fan of this Cuisine loved their indianized version too. Something you should Surely order from here.

So they have seating at their outlet too but they usually get orders and take away which has increased pretty well in the past four months I.e. after they started this place. Honestly, their food is worth drooling over and I will recommend it to each and everyone. Even if you are a non vegetarian, you can come here or order from here and you will definitely be delighted.

I am definitely going back to eat their food again.

CAFE OMG - NEW KID IN TOWN

The first impression the place will leave on you will be OH MY GOD! From the art made out of buttons on the wall of an angel to the interior of heaven and hell which ends up in the marriage of red and gold, making the interior captivating.

The place is humongous covering an area of 8000sq feet.

What we binged on:

•ACHARI VADA PAO: oh heavenly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- perfect blend of spices and the bun was soft and The aloo batata tasted so good and the spicy lasuni chutney completed the dish. Additionally the presentation was beautiful and the whole affair was drool worthy.

•SESAME BREAD BITES: were a little oily but otherwise tasted good. The crunch was perfect and the hot and sweet sauce complimented them.

•ORANGE SRIR ACHA GRILLED SUPREME OF CHICKEN : served with a peanut dip is an admirable dish, the roasted chicken was succulent and flavoursome.

#MOCKTAILS AND COCKTAILS:

•ADDAMS APPLE: You will be awestruck with the presentation of this drink. Topped with a ice ball which is filled with vodka. Came with a small hammer in a illusionary plate. It was zesty, i loved it from the top to the bottom. RECOMMENDED.

•COCONUT AND COOKIE BUBBLE SHAKE:

It was a delightful shake. Tasted pretty good and was filling. The coconut flavour was strong but subtle at the same time which made it astounding.RECOMMENDED.

•ITALIAN SMOOCH: a refreshing mocktail with a iceball. It had an overpowering flavour of mint. I liked it.

•VIRGIN BLOODY MARY: its best to skip this one.

•PAN MADIRA: it made me remember a toffee i used to eat in my childhood called pan pasand (not sure) but it resembled the taste of that toffee. It was refreshing but i don't think that everybody is gonna like it.

•ANGEL BLUSH: it was a pineapple juice based drink with basil and lemon, it had a beautiful red blush colour, with both tart and sweet flavour given by grenadine syrup. The presentation was adorable with a flower on the top.

#MAIN COURSE:

•ASPARAGUS AND COTTAGE CHEESE WITH SMOKED CHILLI HOT GARLIC: the dish was so palatable that I couldn't find even one wrong thing about it. The cottage cheese was tender and asparagus was fresh and the sauce was perfect chilli and garlicky. It tasted incredibly good with the STREET SIDE NOODLE.

•KATHAL AUR MOTI KA PULAO WITH BURANI RAITA: you HAVE TO TRY THIS ONE- the pulao was so divine that i ignored all other dishes until it was finished. The raita on its own was superb too. It was a wholesome dish. I loved it.

•ALFREDO PENNE PASTA: was mouthwatering, the sauce was on point. Perfectly creamy and with perfect consistency. .

•CHERRY TOMATOES AND FRESH BASIL PENNE PASTA: was well seasoned, the garlicky taste was tenuous. I completely loved it. RECOMMENDED.

•SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN: was fresh and succulent, it was crunchy on the outside and squidgy from inside, it was flavourful. Overall it was mouthwatering.

It was served with Rosemary Potatoes but were better off without them.

#COMiNG TO THE SWEET COURSE:

•MELON KI KHEER: oh my GOD. I couldn't stop spoon digging in that kheer. First experience and it was splendid

I didn't like the other two desserts a lot but i think because of the buffet system they were not able to do justice to them.

•CHOCOLAVA: okayish could have been better.

•LEMON POSSET : average.

#SHEESHA: commissioner- can't stop praising about it to all of my friends. Trust me it was THE BEST hookah i ever had. Such smooth smoke and so dense. The hookah itself looked so hot. And was served with a chilled pipe. I was reluctant to pass it on to anybody else. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. A must thing on your table.

This new kid deserves a visit for sure :)

GOT FARZIFIED at FARZI, Cp

Cp is filled with a number of watering holes and this swanky eatery simply adds on sparkle to this place.
Farzi is a phenomenon that can only be felt and experienced , my experience was spectacular !! A delectable showcase of molecular gastronomy.

As i entered the place i was taken aback by the look and feel of place , which is eye pleasing. What a classy ambience! Everything from nicely done tables , a stage for live performances to the lively bar , everything was perfect.

Coming to the service, nicely dressed staff was very welcoming and courteous and  there was not a single time when the waiters weren't around or missed a thing we asked them to get. The best part was every waiter had the knowledge about the dishes , which was very impressive!

In drinks we had-

Litchi panna desire which had lil flavour of litchi and was sweet in taste but is perfect drink for summers.

Farzi OK- signature mocktail , an orangy mocktail presented in a cute jar which is ordinary these days was blended to perfection.

Chai pani- not an ordinary chai and not so strong but innovative cocktail, mixed with cinnamon , one of the best drinks!

And how could i forget about the Bantas , this wasn't ordinary at all , cocktail flavoured bantas was one heck of an innovation.  we had two of them kala jamun and aam panna .

The food was in sync with fusion of indian food and every item on the menu had some twist.

We started off with the unique shots - mishti doi shots , palate cleanser which was really something new and delicious , it is a complimentary dish on every table.

Coming to the starters , the chef served us with the following dishes -

Dal chawal arancini- signature dish , trust me dal chawal never tasted so good , the filling was of rice and daal with cheese and coating was of papad served on the bed of tomato pury .

Mac n cheese pakoda- i am a big fan of mac n cheese but never heard of mac n cheese pakoda , it's a deep fried balls of mac n cheese served with chilli sauce which was lip smacking.

Farzi fried chicken - happiness in a truck, juicy chicken with crispy coating, totally drool worthy.

Chilli potato samosas - fusion at its best , honey chilli potato wrapped in a cute lil samosas with right amount of spices garnished with sesameseeds were delicious  in taste.

Delhibelly- sweet , sour and chatpata flavour is the best pork appetizer i've ever had, meat lovers must have it.

Mini raj kachori- rollercoaster on plate, these yummy mini raj kachoris were served with crispy okra salad , with nimbu mirch air on top was so good that you'll end up ordering it again.

Chilli pork- thin batter and right amount of spices used makes it one of the best dishes at farzi.

Delicious cooked fried prawns tempura ,a molecular heaven , deep fried jumbo prawns topped with tamarind foam was so palatable that it was surely a yummy treat for our stomach.

Cashew idlis , a lite snack was decent in taste  to have in starters.

Another unique twist to south indian dish paddu which is basically made up rice balls served on the base of 2 sauces which was fine in taste .

Soya chaap , a wonder dish which was soft , moist and flavourful.

After we completed with our starters , we were served with hajmola candy to help aid digestion in a branched structure which was again a complimentary thing served to every customers.

We were so overstuffed with the starters that we end up ordering only 2 dishes, dal makhni with garlic naan , though dal makhni had great flavours in it but it was not upto the expectation but on the other hand mutton kuzhambu  with flaky appams , a drooling combination was  something to linger for long.

In desserts we had their all famous parle G cheesecake and milky way dessert.

Parle G cheesecake , though not a big fan of cheesecake but this dessert was not to be missed , one of the best innovative things over here , it's all about rabri, cheesecake and parle G biscuit.

Milky way, solar system on plate, this dessert was breathtaking, flavoured chunks of chocolate, saffron, aam panna orange topped with milk custard , The orange icecream was hardened by pouring liquid nitrogen , a must try!

This wasn't all , they surprised us with a sweet end to our meal by giving us paan candy floss! Soo tasty and unique.

The toys used in serving the food were noteworthy, chicken served in a small truck, mac n cheese pakodas being served in small rickshaw sort of thing, main course dishes in london phonebooth thing and bill in an adorable typewriter.

All we have to say is that we're totally FARZIFIED with quiry yet chique with modern bistro Farzi cafe , serving scrumptious fusion food and we're definitely going back again, kudos to the owner and the whole team of farzi!
