PIND BALLUCHI- An Incredible Food Voyage

Everybody loves Typical Authentic Indian Food. Until and unless you eat some delicious Indian Food you dont really feel complete. Indeed this is applicable to most of the Indians. Connaught Place is like a gorgeous hub for foodies to sit and enjoy the long roads and the atmosphere of the typical Delhi and its people and also eat some amazing food.

 Hanging out with your friends and want to eat authentic indian food? Right here is the answer to all your queries i.e. Pind Balluchi. A very famous place which is situated in the heart of CP. 

Below is my review regarding the recent visit here.

Let me begin with its decor first. So, a beautiful sight from the beginning itself. As the name suggests, pind is a village in punjab and the decor has justified the name.. Exquisite mannequins looking so real and having that farmer- villager touch in their clothes. A huge tree in the centre of the restaurant with 'Dholak' and 'Monkeys' hung on it. It was so pleasing to the eye. The few negetive points were that they had some old fashioned techniques like, huge standing fans, plugs coming out of the switch board and the switch board coming out of the wall, etc.

One has always heard people saying that Pind Balluchi serves one of the best non-vegetarian dishes, so we indulged into their Kadhai Murg and indeed we fell in love with it. With the correct spices and that Indian touch, it was just perfect. With all the delicious veggies inside it like onions and capsicums the dish just got better and better. The chichen pieces were soft and juicy and we could actually feel the gravy even inside the deep corners of the chicken pieces. This exceptionally good taste of this dish gets 5/5.

Usually if you are a non-vegetarian food lover you tend to eat all the non-veg food and disregard or ignore the vegetarian dish. But let me warn you that here you may actually do the opposite. This delectable dish i.e. Kadhai Paneer will woo your heart as you take the first bite only. Soft and tender Paneer pieces and yummy gravy just makes you want more. Really loved it. Full marks for this one too.

The Laccha Paranthas were yummy and were soft even after keeping it for 10-15 minutes. Butter Naan was a little crispy and it should actually be soft and easily chewable. 

The Subz Biryani was not something we had expected it to be. It was more of a homemade fried rice/mixed pulao kind. The taste was pale and we had to add a little salt to it. We felt it was not the biryani that one expects from Pind Balluchi. A little gravy and a little more spice would really enhance its flavours and bring out the real biryani taste which was missing. 

When you eat Indian Food you've got to make a mess in your plate. 

WELL, the service was a little slow and that too when there was rarely anyone in the restaurant. Slowly the crowd increased and the waiters were quickly taking up tables and greeting people cheerfully. As a customer we loved the service and would really want to go back and try more of their dishes and recommend to other people as well. One can go here with family or friends or on a date and you wont be disappointed for sure.
